At Equips Marketplace, we aim to provide a smooth and secure buying and selling experience for medical equipment. This Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which buyers and sellers can cancel orders placed on the platform.
1. Order Cancellation by Buyer
Buyers may cancel an order if:
- The seller has not yet shipped the item.
- The cancellation request is made within 24 hours of placing the order.
- The item is marked as eligible for cancellation in the listing.
To cancel an order:
- Log in to your account.
- Go to My Orders and click Request Cancellation.
- Provide a reason (optional) and wait for seller approval.
Note: If the seller has already shipped the item, the order cannot be canceled and must go through the return process instead.
2. Order Cancellation by Seller
A seller may cancel an order if:
- The item is out of stock or no longer available.
- The buyer's payment or shipping information is incomplete or invalid.
- The transaction is flagged for fraud risk or violation of platform terms.
The buyer will be notified immediately, and a full refund will be issued.
3. Automatic Cancellations
Equips Marketplace may cancel an order if:
- Payment is not completed within the required time.
- The order violates our Terms and Conditions.
- Seller fails to confirm shipment within a specific timeframe.
4. Refund for Canceled Orders
- If a paid order is canceled (by buyer, seller, or platform), a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
- Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on the payment provider.
5. Exceptions
Some products may be non-cancellable, such as:
- Custom or made-to-order items.
- Products specifically marked as non-cancellable by the seller.
